They continued in the Apostles' teaching and fellowship;
the breaking of bread, and the prayers
The Clergy and Laity of the sponsoring parishes have worked together
to create a teaching week which we hope
will revitalise our own commitment and outreach
and to offer it to the other parishes
in our city and to all who might be seeking to learn more about the faith.
Click on the menu on the right to find out more
about what is happening on each of the days.
One lay woman has described the whole event as a pilgrimage,
because not only is the faith unfolded but we also move
from place to place to show the goodness of God’s grace to us.
The venues open 45 minutes before each event and there will be
a “warm up presentation” as well as the teaching which will end
with a chance to chat with clergy and laity involved
with the week over a cup of tea.
We hope that on the first four nights people can be away by 2100.
As befits the “last night” there will be a party on Thursday with an open ending....
There will be a Novena of Prayer from the Ascension to Pentecost.
The events of the week are going to be recorded and it is hoped that
together with some photos and video footage it might become a
teaching recourse for other parishes around the country.
Transport – A bus will provide transport to the venue every night.
A Booking Form with details available nearer the time.
